It's nice to see it.     The local Clayton shop is coming into it's own.     You can go around the area and buy some good cheer.     All local made and ran by good people.    



I want to pop down and pick up a bottle of Flagship Vodka.



They bottle there run of Moonshine too.     Look how clear that stuff is....Very good sign.

15 days till the Ides Of March!

Cesar may not have had a good day on the 15th of March O-so many days ago.     But it brings us into the fall of WINTER!     Five days later we are done with the hell called Winter.     It's good to take that day and remember a man who was so hated by his peers that they stabbed him to death in public in his capital building.     O yes it's a Saturday too.    Good reason to go out and really tie one on.     Heck I know......Why not tie one on every day till the 15th?    A plan has arrived.

LAST DAY OF FEB.......MARCH STARTS SATURDAY!

 

 

Today we have 20 day left of Winter or about 3 fucking weeks.     Or you can see it another way.     The first day of spring is March 20th.     I tend to say we have 20 more dam days of cold and snow.     Yes it sucks ass.

 

 

At this point it will take several days of above freezing temps to get the snow banks all gone from our eyes.     Unless we get one of those quick two day things with warm rain.

 
I just hope we don't end up living in the darn snow till May.     An Igloo would be cool for about (I say) a few days.     Than we would have to hope it went away.

 

I'm finding a snow-blower this year.    I don't car if I have to pay it off on time.     Sick of the snow shovel crap.     I have done it for years.     Enough has became enough.

 

I can't even think of how hard it was in these days to keep the roads open.    We live in times where if we need to drive, we can most days.    Think of just a few years ago.    I remember the 70s winter storms.     You sometimes didn't get off your road for days on end.    Going 30miles away in the winter to Watertown was a rare treat.     You were  trapped in your small little part of the planet.  

 

I saw this the other day.    Kids will finally find that bike they knew they had months ago.    Saw one chained to a fence over on West Main peeking out of a pile of snow.    Must be someone forgot where they parked back in December.

The Vikings second season was on last night.

It was all worth the wait.     Hot Viking chicks, battle axes, and screaming Vikings doing what they do.     English gold and cold ale were all the rage.     Fighting your friends for a scrap of meat was also high on the chart.    Fun for all.



Sure your hot girlfriend might have a dash of hair on her lip.    All part of the days.

But that's what went down then.    You took the good with the bad.    Sure everyone wasn't long for the planet.    Oldest man you know is 35.

Just remembered a day when we had some real fun at work.

They don't happen so much this time of the year.    This was months ago.    We were asked by the sales dept. to put a Fiat on the back of a flat-bed truck.     It wasn't really so easy as it looks.
