The people left alive on the show have never seen a Zombie animal as far as I have seen. Not even one. They kill and eat them too. I saw this dude with a rabbit body in his bag for days and it didn't come back. Must be what ever they have doesn't jump to the critters. I have not noticed this fact covered in the series yet. The one eyed dog he saw about a week ago is a real one eyed dog who couldn't get work. He worked in other shows till he lost one eye. Walkers said he made a great fit to the show and put him in. Very cool.
This dude thinks it's just out of character for animal zombies.
