What's with all the monsters?

All of a sudden monsters are every where in America.    Have you noticed this?     Every show on TV is about some creature living in your back yard, waiting for you to slip up.   The above link is from 2012 in CA.     Some hairless dog/pig came out of the ocean.    It looks like a freak of nature, but is it?     It might be standard issue from another planet.    Who knows?

Heck you are making out in your car by that dark lake and a goat man tries to take your shoes.    Run man.    Why does he want your shoes?    Where all of a sudden did a goat man come from?    Spain?   Weird exchange student who was lost in the woods in the late 90s?     Maybe.

These are always the guys who not only saw the creatures, now they spend weeks looking for them.    One is always Guss.     Guss may or may not have been torn up by the thing.    He hasn't been the same ever since.    He walks funny.    The other most like is named Leroy.     He also saw it, wasn't hurt.     He was smart enough to run back to the pickup and get help.     About every team is dead on the same.

How does this new camera work, come to mind?     Yup you have it.     Dudes, who up to a week ago had never heard of running water in the house.    Never even seen a cell phone, looking for the beast that ate their sister.    Or the one who took their sister's pride.   For some of you who don't get it, pride is a nice way of saying their sister was molested by the creature.    But none of them had a thing to do with it, that drunken Sunday night by the river.

O yes than you have the it might have survived the pre-history kind of monster.     A chicken dino that only shows up when Roy is cooking the moonshine.     Or some other kind of creature in Kentucky that lives to take your chew.    I mean really?

Add the super-natural creatures we all know are out to get us and you have some real fear.    I believe in vampires.    Why the heck not?    You see stories about them as far back as history goes.     Must be something to it.     Ware-wolfs too.     How many times have we heard about shape shifters down by the old highway in Copenhagen?      Or Ghosts who live in your barn?     All of it seems like it could be true.

I just hope when they come out of the woodworks they only eat rednecks.     I believe if you watch the shows they kind of key in on that kind of prey.     Dudes in dark woods coats, camo.     Looking for a special man who can be their friend.    Loners and drifters.    People who won't be missed.
