I watched this take off live from Japan.

It was amazing to see a rocket take off from a small launch pad in Japan.     It was there bird taking a NASA sat called GPM into space.     The bird will be able to pinpoint so many facts about water on our planet.    It is the core sat for a very large project that one day will help our science understand just about everything that has to do with water on the planet.    Many more sats have to be launched to finish the project.     It was cool to see it launch.

Another snow day for Fort Drum and the local schools.

Have to admit it looks kind of shitty out there.    I'd ask to go TOO.  

Weather has sucked this week.     I hope they get a day off Friday too.  


Well it's Friday and it isn't real bad out there.    Cold yes.    But the snowing and the wind are almost gone for now.     Is it a nice day to go to school or Drum?    Not really.    But sometimes we have to suck it up.     I guess we are only a few weeks from Spring.     I hope.

Plastic owls work real good.     I have one out front all year long.    It costs pennies to buy one.    Two or more couldn't hurt if the crows are real bad.     I watched the black shits run every time they saw the plastic owl.     They are stupid when it comes to a natural enemy.

You can say all you want that they are cool and nice to have.     Yes up in the Tug Hill where a house is rare, sure they look nice.    Right on top of a fishing town is just stupid and it always has been.    A place where people paid for nice homes to be built so they can get away from dumpy over populated cities.     Away from the steal and the noise.     A place t fish, hunt, and boat without seeing a city sky line.     Yes it sucks for the landowners who could count the money in their sleep.    But sometimes dreams just don't pan out.
