I feel for some on who can't ever understand why they were given away.     But the person was good enough to have you and make sure you went to a home.     Sure no telling how good a home, still a home.     They didn't or couldn't stay with you.     So really you almost have to understand they don't want to meat you.     That's just my word on it.     I had a cus. who tried his whole life to find his mom.     He did find a brother and he told him he should be glad he was given away.      Mom was a drunk and abusive person.
